Cutie Pops

Fall 2012 launch of Cutie Pops doll line. My invention of interchangeable eyes, hair, and Style Pops decoration was licensed and produced by Jada Toys.

Bratz Fashions

Most of the fashion design work that I did for MGA on their Bratz line was in early 2010 and turned over in black and white or quick marker sketches. I had no further involvement after I submitted my designs.

Liv dolls for Spin Master was another project that I did quite a lot of fashion designs for. These were from 2009.

Fall fashion looks - working sketches. Most of these were turned over in black and white. I was not involved any further.

VamPixie Concept and Novel

In 2009, it began with an idea; to lighten up the vampire genre and bring it to a younger audience in the form of these half fairy - half vampire characters called VamPixies. First they were dolls with sparkly bat wings...but then I got a little carried away and wrote an entire Middle Grade novel!

Realistic head sketches

After writing the book, the characters felt more real to me than the previous versions, so I experimented with some different faces for potential dolls.

I designed these while working for Mattel in the Barbie Collectibles department between 2000 and 2002.

Fashion Ponies

I designed the fashions for a line of fashion ponies, called Struts, from Playmates Toys.

Hannah Montana and Cheetah Girls Dolls

These were done for Play Along Toys in 2007. I continued to design Hannah fashions for Jakks Pacific in 2008.

Tini Puppini

In 2008 I created a line of fashion puppies called Tini Puppini in collaboration with Funosophy. It was licensed by Spin Master and released Fall 09 with major retailers.

This was meant to be a humorous take on the puppy in my purse trend, humanizing your pet to the extreme! Unfortunately the release of Tini Puppini came at exactly the same time as the economic recession in the US. That along with some marketing hitches, and a high price-point, did not allow these pups much more than two seasons on the shelf.

Liv dolls for Spin Master was another project that I did quite a lot of fashion designs for. These were from 2009.

Strawberry Shortcake

From relaunch by Playmates Toys in 2005 through 2006, Strawberry Shortcake kept me very busy!

Film Design and Illustration

Before designing toys, I was Assistant Designer on Tombstone with Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell, and a Sketch Artist and Costumer on several other films, including Super Mario Brothers and The Crow.
